Game Recaps

The Mustangs fell in their season opener against South Elgin, 48-35. Downers Grove was trailing 14-7 going into the second half, before the Storm offense—led by junior quarterback Robert Cuda—exploded for 34 points. Downers Grove quarterback Mike Zebold, who started the second half, finished 7 for 13 with 177 yards. Senior receiver Kaylon Miller had five catches for 206 yards.
