Boys Basketball: South Crushes North 64-20
Relentless defense led by guard Jerron Wilbut turns the game into an almost immediate blowout.
The Hot Read: The Mustangs started the game on a 16-0 run and never looked back, humiliating the hometown Trojans in a 64-20 blowout. The Trojans had no answer whatsoever on offense or defense for the extremely talented and athletic Mustangs, turning the crosstown battle into a laugher almost immediately.
Patch’s MVP: Mustangs guard Jerron Wilbut led the way with 20 points and some excellent defense in spite of being hampered by foul trouble in the second and third quarters.
