Fundamentals of Yoga: 6 week Introductory Series
This progressive 6 week introductory course is designed for students new to yoga to explore the basics, develop strength, balance, and flexibility and experience the peace of mind yoga promises. In this class you will cover all the fundamental poses, diaphragmatic breathing, grounding, alignment, meditation, the energy body and some of the rich history and tradition of yoga. Upon completion of this series you will be ready to take any level yoga class or develop a safe personal practice tailored to your current age, health and lifestyle. People of every fitness level, from the tri-athlete to the sedentary individual can participate in this course in a safe, fun and caring environment. Registration is required.
