K of C 3738 to Hold Free-Throw Contest

The St. John's Council (3738) of the Knights of Columbus will hold its annual free-throw contest for boys and girls 10 to 14 years of age on Sunday, Jan. 30, from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Westmont Park District, 75 E. Richmond St. Winners will progress through local, district and state competition. Registration will occur on the day of the contest, with proof of age required. Last year, more than 340,000 contestants participated in more than 4,700 local competitions.
