Nelson Golf Amateur Tournament

Participants will tee off in order of age at the 13th Annual Bob Nelson Jr. Golf Amateur, named in  honor of the late Bob Nelson who was instrumental in teaching golf to juniors in the Downers Grove area. More than 100 youth participated in last year’s Bob Nelson Jr. tournament.

This tournament is sponsored by the Squires Golf League of Downers Grove and a member of the league will accompany each foursome to help with play and etiquette. The fee includes greens fees, small bucket of range balls to warm up for competition and a hot dog, chips and fountain drink. The deadline for registration is June 6. Registration is required and can be taken at the Golf Club, Recreation Center and Lincoln Center or on-line.
