The On Your Marks 5K is the first 5K run/family walk sponsored by Downers Grove Christian School.
Proceeds will benefit a new scholarship fund founded in memory of a former DGCS student, Tina L. Marks, who died from complications from pancreatitis at age 22. The Marks Family has been actively involved in the school, as well as in the community as owners of Douglas-Main Pharmacy, 5207 Main St. in downtown Downers Grove. The Tina Marks Scholarship Fund assists school families with financial hardship.
You can register in advance here. Race-day registration will open at 7 a.m. at the fire station.
