Football: Downers Grove North Grove Tops Lockport in Season Opener
The Trojans defeated the Porters 27-7 at home Friday night, handing Lockport its first season-opening loss since 2002.

The Trojans (1-0) took a 7-0 lead in the first quarter after a 1-yard touchdown by quarterback David Edwards. Kyle Leto (10 carries, 105 yards) scored two touchdowns, and Gareth Jones added a 34-yard field goal.
According to the Herald-News, Friday was the first time since 2002 that Lockport (0-1) lost its season opener.
