Football Recap: Downers Grove South Alone in First Place
Downers Grove North also won Friday, picking up its first conference victory of the season.

Downers Grove South picked up a huge win Friday night, winning at conference foe Willowbrook, 47-14.
Going into the game, both teams were 3-0 in the West Suburban Gold conference. Now Downers is alone in first place and has won four of five games after starting 0-2.
Meanwhile, Downers Grove North got its first conference win of the season, topping York 28-7. DGN is now 4-3 overall and 1-3 in the West Suburban Silver Conference.
This week, Downers Grove South hosts Proviso East and Downers Grove North travels to Proviso West. Both games are scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m.
