STOP! A sign of diminishing postings at many corners in the Village.

Have you noticed during the summer months how many STOP signs disappear throughout the village.  When Streets and Parks ride through the city streets I wonder why they miss seeing the STOP signs missing in action (MIA) until you suddenly pass a few low hanging tree limbs or bushes and/or hedges growing taller during the summer months, but completely cover the MIA's from a driver's sight until he reaches them.  Hot Dog!  The signs STOP pop-up out of nowhere.   Can't believe any of my neighbors haven't had some close calls or even needing to abruptly stop in front of an unsuspecting driver tailing too close for comfort.  Wham, bam, my dang insurance will be higher soon no doubt.   It's bad enough with having to watch other drivers from popping out from their diagonal parking spaces, scaring you half to death, but the popping up of MIA  Stop Signs is blood pressure rising at its best.
