Two people were hospitalized Monday after a motor vehicle crash at the corner of 75th Street and Lemont Road, at the borders of Darien, Woodridge and Downers Grove, the Darien-Woodridge Fire Protection District reported.

The injuries were not life-threatening, Deputy Chief Steven Gorsky said on Monday afternoon, and the victims were taken to nearby hospitals.

The crash was originally reported by the District at 2:56 p.m. Monday as involving entrapment; however, responding emergency crews did not find anyone trapped in a vehicle, Gorsky said.

Downers Grove police are investigating the crash, Gorsky added.
