Downers Grove Park District Hosts Annual Outdoor Flea Market
Also this weekend: The Downers Grove Fine Arts Festival comes to town and Downers Grove football teams take the field for Week 2 match-ups.
The Downers Grove Park District will host more than 100 vendors at its annual outdoor flea market Saturday afternoon.
The flea market will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Hummer Park, 4833 Fairview Ave. Items for sale include crafts, baby clothes, antiques and collectibles.
The event is free to the public.

Football Games: Downers Grove North (1-0) will host Hinsdale South at 7:30 p.m. Friday. South High (0-1) will take on host Proviso West at 7:30 p.m.
Downtown Downers Grove Market: The Downtown Downers Grove Market is held every Saturday from 7 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., through Oct. 19. The market, located in the Main Street Metra Station's south parking lot, features a variety of produce, fresh bread and pastries, coffees and other specialty foods. Fine Arts Festival: The annual Downtown Downers Grove Fine Arts Festival will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the intersection of Main Street and Burlington Avenue.
