Pumpkin Patches, Corn Mazes, Fall Festivals in the Downers Grove Area

  • Downers Grove South (3-3) will travel to conference rival Willowbrook on Friday, as Downers Grove North (3-3) hosts York.
  • The Downtown Downers Grove Market is held every Saturday from 7 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., through Oct. 19. The market, located in the Main Street Metra Station's south parking lot, features a variety of produce, fresh bread and pastries, coffees and other specialty foods. For more information, visit www.ymcachicago.org/indianboundary.
  • Downers Grove's DLD Dance Company will hold its second annual dance showcase at 2 p.m. Saturday at the DuPage County Fairgrounds Exhibition Hall, 2015 Manchester Road in Wheaton.
  • The Indian Boundary YMCA, 711 59th St. in Downers Grove, will host its fourth annual Breast Cancer Awareness 5K Walk/Run at 8:30 a.m. Saturday. The event is free and will honor those who have had breast cancer. Sign up in the Fitness Center or by calling 630-929-2419.
