Trolley Tour to Showcase Historic Downers Grove, Sears Homes

The Downers Grove Park District is hosting a two-hour trolley of Sears Homes and Historic Downers Grove on Saturday.

The tour will run from 10 a.m. to noon, beginning and ending at the Downers Grove Park District Museum Annex, located at 831 Maple Ave.

Participants are invited to view the museum’s exhibits and enjoy light refreshments after the tour. 
 
Advanced registration is required. The resident fee is $25 and non-resident fee is $38. Visit dgparks.org to register today, or call the museum at 630-963-1309 for details.

Classic Car Show: The Summer Nights Classic Car Show will be held from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday in downtown Downers Grove. This week's show will feature police, fire and emergency vehicles. Entertainment will be provided by Bobby K and Steve, a band that performs rock covers.
