Hinsdale South serves students from most of Darien and Willowbrook, as well as parts of Burr Ridge, Hinsdale and Clarendon Hills. The Advanced Placement program regularly rates the school as one of the top 10 in Illinois in Newsweek's rankings. Students work with guidance counselors on their post-secondary plans starting in 8th grade and continue throughout senior year. The school is the county hub for deaf students, with 87 individuals from across DuPage enrolled this year. Dr. Brian Waterman is principal.
