Café: I've hit half price burger night on Monday's a few times and have been very happy. My wife kids and I had a few non burger dinners there over the summer and liked it a lot. The wait can get long but that's not really their fault.

Grocery: It's pricey and I wouldn't shop for everything there. But if I want a real tomato, or good cheese I go here before Whole Foods. The price is about the same as Whole Foods and I'd rather support a local small business than a bigger chain. I buy beer here too. That's more to support the store than for value. I know I can get it cheaper at Binny's but I really like the idea of having a place like Lemon Tree in town.

Coffee: When I have time I stop for espresso before I hop on the train and it's been great.

lemon tree, hows the tax break? You want to kick in for the fire works? Yea folks, I get my water bill in the mail and the village is asking for donations for the july 4th fitre works and yet they give tax breaks to this place. BITE ME.

I like the Lemon Tree, they have a nice beer and wine selection. Sometimes the service is funky though. You can sit down and wait a long time, the workers are sometimes preoccupied. Once I was seated by a woman then she took a break and nobody ever came. Last week I sat down at the bar and they didn't serve me for 10 minutes, they were counting things, stocking things, when I think they should serve the customer first. In the grocery store, I always get good service, but I like their food so I will go back.

poor service, waited for over 30 min for my dinner while the rest of table was enjoing theirs. only to have a very overcooked steak (do they know what MED-RARE is?...no) the place was not crowed on a saturday night, and a table who was seated after us,also got their food before us (i guess it pays to knows someone). i'll go to standard market next time.

I'm so happy we have this store now in Downers Grove! True, sometimes they get busy, but it's because their food is so good! I love their pick up and go meals for my family! Yummy! And friendly service all the time.

Came for $5 burger night, had to wait 45 min for a table and then another 45 min for the burger which was not made how I asked, no one in my group got their burger made how they had asked. The table next to us (5 people) got their food before we did, despite them ordering 5 min after us and I even heard them complain of a burger cooked wrong but didn't want to wait to have it corrected. They clearly cant handle the dinner rush and seem to have below average cooks. I could chalk this up to a one time thing but last time I came in to order food for take out it took 20 min, with hardly anyone in the store, for them to make 2 sandwiches.

Had a delicious lunch there today. Al fresh Boreheads sandwich meat, Good service, fresh arnie palmer drink, and excellent fry's. Certainly a whole different concept than it was when it fiorst opened. Also looks as if they have lowered some prices on their salads and other items. Looking forward to another visit and picking up a fresh rotissari chicken.
