Our younger selves would also have to be willing to accept the advice. Often easier said than done.
Pearl Gannon April 16, 2014 at 09:47 am
I believe both of you have very good points. @Sal, who's to say that we, as younger children orRead More people would actually listen to that advice that we were given? We want to be free, do the opposite of what our parents say, etc. And @Bob, I wish more people realized that they can be THAT PERSON for others. We can be that for our children, friends going through rough times, strangers...you name it. The possibilities are endless. I just hope people learn that!

Sal is so right. Younger me would not have listened to me.

It says Around Town but the headline is UTAH. Utah is not near Natick!! I think everyone should notRead More open an article on Patch unless they see their town's name in the headline. So If it doesn't say Natick, then we all know it is not LOCAL to the Natick Patch. The less clicks these Patch sites get, the fewer advertisers they will get and then perhaps they will realize if we want sensational news from across the country we'd go back to Patch's former owners AOL and the HuffPost! Those here from other Patch sites - I think you should do the same only click on articles that mention your community's name. No name. No click!

DREADFUL doesn't cover it. Did the village NOT KNOW IT WAS GOING TO SNOW???? Seriously, I wasRead More driving like a snail and I got stuck in a slushy, icy bank of snow at Washington and Maple. Thank you so much to the man who helped push me out. If they WOULD HAVE SALTED AND PLOWED though, it wouldn't have happened. The village disappoints AGAIN.

You think they care? Look how they quickly they caved into the churches about the stormwater fees.Read More They UNANIMOUSLY decided to give them a break. Where is OUR relief? Regarding the snow, politicians should always be cognizant of the 'Bilandic effect' when it comes to snow removal. Because if snow isn't removed, the politicians are.

So very very sad., bullied and than put out .. so sad
Northsider March 26, 2014 at 10:05 am
Is it really bullying to call out someone who is perpetrating a crime, Tara? Wake up. The dogs areRead More out of the back of that store and the proof is that they were being neglected. THAT IS SAD. Not someone running a kennel a puppy mill in a strip mall going out of business. What is really sad is that people breed animals for profit instead of getting a real job and making their way in this world on their own labor when millions of healthy animals are being put to sleep in shelters all across this country due to overpopulation. This store had plenty of space to work with shelters and help find homes for animals at risk for being killed at shelters, but they chose not to be a part of the solution. That is sad.

It's not only sad that Tara believes that Tammy Coglianese was bullied and "put out". DoesRead More she really believe that the actual finding by many people including the county and the state, was a fabrication? There are pictures and numerous reports along with testimony from buyers of sick puppies depicting the "puppy mill". Get your head out of the clouds and open your eyes, even if you are a friend of Ms Coglianese!

Can we expect the roads on Monday to be snow packed as they were on Presidents Day? Instead of theRead More wasteful midnight curb plowing days later, at least plow one lane on Monday !

I don't think it should be named. Hopefully it will recover very well and be released in the not toRead More distant future. It is not a pet. I know it is hard not to emotionalize with it but, that is not what is best for the Eagle.
