"Virtual walls"? Geezus... GPS spoofing is but one way around the geofence. The otherRead More is simply walking up to someone and saying "HEY *(&*(^^#&*(Y($*() !!!!!" Or use a different app created with a bogus email account... *sigh*. Sticks and stones people... sticks and stones... Walk it off and move on...

my kid tells me that his buddy who lives over in Europe has a math book that shows a drawing of anRead More obese American eating a Cheeseburger with Plumbers Ass , as if we are a bunch of slobs over here!!! Is that nice or what???

Having seen the yearly curriculum I am surprised this is even being debated. Downers Grove studentsRead More receive the opportunity to learn many whole-life enhancing lessons in their physical education classes. I would suggest this curriculum be posted for review long before a vote is taken.

I agree. It's not just about getting out and moving. It's about learning how to do itRead More appropriately. Athletics, band and show choir do not teach proper exercise techniques, exercise protocol or nutrition as it applies to health and wellness. If you can show me that students are truly LEARNING how to be healthy it these programs rather than being told what to do and when, then it could be an appropriate conversation.

I haven't been in school for awhile, but when I was, PE was pretty much a joke. The only worthwhileRead More part was Health class. If the participants of the sports teams are allowed to exempt gym, then why not all students? What about those who study ballet or gymnastics outside of the school? Exercise and nutrition are important, but are those things being taught in all PE classes?

Looks like a great lecturer, count me in! $10 sounds reasonable, hope some charity gets the funds.

I hope he talks about why he wants amnesty for illegals and work visas for foreigners so he can hireRead More them at Facebook at below wages that he'd have to pay US college grads. Hughes and his partner are A1 phonies.

Good. How about adding thorough residency checks on all students too, like they do in Lombard IRead More believe. No more free rides, tax money is not an endless waterfall.
