Help the village understand your wants and needs by taking its bike and pedestrian survey
With the village's increased efforts to make Downers Grove more bike and pedestrian friendly comes the opportunity for resident input. Throughout June, the village was out-and-about asking bikers and walkers what improvements they'd like to see the village make in order to make the village more bike friendly. This time, as the village continues to put together an update to the 12-year-old “Bikeway and Pedestrian” plan, they're looking for community input in the form of a survey. Starting on Wednesday, the Village of Downers Grove is going to be hitting the streets to talk to bikers and pedestrians about what improvements they'd like to see the village make in order to make the community more bike friendly. As part of an update to 12-year-old “Bikeway and Pedestrian” plan expected to be presented in October, the village is looking for ways they can adjust infrastructure, provide education and generally improve the experience of the village's cyclists and walkers.
