A Downers Grove man is accused of using a gun to rob a local gas station of cash and cigarettes, police said. Reginald M. Striblin, 28, of the 2200 block of Prentiss Drive, was charged with aggravated robbery after holding up a Mobil gas station, located at 2181 63rd St., on Dec. 7, police said. According to police, Striblin entered the gas station around 4:40 a.m., pulled out a gun, and demanded the clerk give him money and cigarettes. The clerk handed over the items and Striblin fled the scene, police said. No one was injured during the incident, according to police. CT has conceal carry and that did not stop a kid with an automatic weapon from killing 26 people and then himself. Conceal carry does nothing for public safety and I think hurts it because there are even more guns out in the public.
