Downers Grove Teen Charged in Hinsdale Home Burglary

The Downers Grove resident was found with a ring that was reported stolen during a timeframe in which she was was inside the Madison Street home.

Jewelry taken from a Hinsdale home last month was found during a Dec. 6 traffic stop involving a Downers Grove teen, Hinsdale police said. Rebecca J. Labelle, 18, of the 7900 bock of Woodglenn Lane, was charged with residential burglary and criminal trespassing, police said. The jewelry went missing from the home in November while Labelle was a guest, police said. Labelle, an acquaintance of the victimized homeowner’s child, was one of two guests inside a home in the 10 block of South Madison Street between 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. Nov. 9, police said.
