The Downers Grove Police Department said Monday that resident William Foley was found dead Sunday in Pope County.
After a week and a half search by family, friends and law enforcement, Downers Grove resident Bill Foley was found dead Sunday in Pope County. The Downers Grove Police Department said Monday that the cause of death is still under investigation by Illinois State Police. Family members thanked more than 1,100 followers on the Facebook page "Help Find Bill Foley" for their support in a message Monday morning. UPDATED: Feb. 11, 5 a.m. The search continues for Downers Grove resident William Foley, who was reported missing Wednesday evening after he failed to return home from work. As of Sunday night, there have been no signs of Foley, according to a post by family members on the Facebook page "Help Find Bill Foley." "The search continues throughout the weekend and we are hopeful that he will be safely returned to our family," the post states. "Please continue to spread the word and also to pray for Bill. Jeremy Asbell, 25, was reported missing around 2 a.m. Tuesday after his boat tipped over, officials said.
Search crews recovered Thursday morning the body of a 25-year-old man who has been missing since his canoe capsized earlier this week in a Lemont retention pond. Lemont Deputy Fire Chief Jay Nickleski said searchers located a body at approximately 6 a.m. In a news release, the DuPage County Sheriff's Department confirmed the body was that of Jeremy Asbell, who was reported missing around 2 a.m. Tuesday. The body has been transported to the DuPage County Cornoner's Office, where an autopsy will be performed.

Jose G. Rodriguez, 73, who was reported missing last Thursday, was found in Monee, Ill.
A Downers Grove man who was reported missing last Thursday was found in Monee, Ill., according to a release sent out from the DuPage County Sheriff's Office Tuesday. Monee is about 40 miles southeast of Downers Grove. Family members had reported that they last saw Jose G. Rodriguez, 73, around 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 14, in his yard, near 87th Street and Lemont Road in unincorporated Downers Grove. Rodriguez is an Alzheimer's and dementia patient. Rodriguez is unharmed and is being returned to his family.
