Downers Grove Man Bill Foley Found Dead After More Than A Week Missing

The Downers Grove Police Department said Monday that resident William Foley was found dead Sunday in Pope County.

After a week and a half search by family, friends and law enforcement, Downers Grove resident Bill Foley was found dead Sunday in Pope County. The Downers Grove Police Department said Monday that the cause of death is still under investigation by Illinois State Police. Family members thanked more than 1,100 followers on the Facebook page "Help Find Bill Foley" for their support in a message Monday morning. "Hey FB family...it is with a broken heart that I tell you that Bill Foley was located last night and he is deceased. We are all so sad, but we know he is now at peace with his dad in heaven. Obituary: Hunter Himes, 15

Services will be held Tuesday and Wednesday for Himes, a Downers Grove teen who died Sunday from injuries sustained during a bicycle accident in Darien.

Hunter Anthony Himes, 15, of unincorporated Downers Grove, died Sunday from injuries sustained during a bicycle accident in February 2012. Hunter, who would have been a freshman at Downers Grove South this year, was left in a persistent vegetative state from brain injuries suffered after he was struck by a car while riding his bike home from a friend's house in Darien. His parents, Mark and Terra Ihde, put him on hospice in November after learning he would not recover. He died Sunday morning in his home. He is survived by his parents and two younger sisters, Chase and Calyn, along with numerous family members and friends. Patch Readers Share Memories of Downers Grove Business Owner BJ Boyd

Boyd, who owned and operated Consider It Done in downtown Downers Grove for nearly 12 years, died Sunday after a battle with cancer.

Betty Jane "B.J." Boyd, owner of the downtown Downers Grove gift shop Consider It Done, died Sunday morning in her home after a seven-month battle with cancer. She was 60. READ: Downers Grove Mourns Loss of Longtime Business Owner BJ Boyd Boyd opened Consider It Done, 5133 Main St., in October 2000 using the slogan, "Come with Laughs, Leave with Treasures." Prior to opening her store, she made custom gift baskets for seven years out of the basement of Dream Interiors. Downers Grove Mourns Loss of Longtime Business Owner BJ Boyd

Boyd, 60, owned and operated Consider It Done in downtown Downers Grove for nearly 12 years. She died Sunday after a battle with cancer.

The Downers Grove business community is mourning the loss of one of its most beloved members. Betty Jane "B.J." Boyd, owner of the gift shop Consider It Done, died Sunday morning in her home after a seven-month battle with cancer. She was 60. Boyd opened Consider It Done, 5133 Main St., in October 2000 using the slogan, "Come with Laughs, Leave with Treasures." The store carries gift baskets, whimsical clocks, humorous and inspirational wooden signs, picture frames, outdoor decor, baby gifts and more. Prior to opening her store, Boyd made custom gift baskets for seven years out of the basement of Dream Interiors.
