The Downers Grove Police Department said Monday that resident William Foley was found dead Sunday in Pope County.
After a week and a half search by family, friends and law enforcement, Downers Grove resident Bill Foley was found dead Sunday in Pope County. The Downers Grove Police Department said Monday that the cause of death is still under investigation by Illinois State Police. Family members thanked more than 1,100 followers on the Facebook page "Help Find Bill Foley" for their support in a message Monday morning. Services will be held Tuesday and Wednesday for Himes, a Downers Grove teen who died Sunday from injuries sustained during a bicycle accident in Darien.
Hunter Anthony Himes, 15, of unincorporated Downers Grove, died Sunday from injuries sustained during a bicycle accident in February 2012. Hunter, who would have been a freshman at Downers Grove South this year, was left in a persistent vegetative state from brain injuries suffered after he was struck by a car while riding his bike home from a friend's house in Darien. His parents, Mark and Terra Ihde, put him on hospice in November after learning he would not recover. He died Sunday morning in his home. He is survived by his parents and two younger sisters, Chase and Calyn, along with numerous family members and friends. Boyd, who owned and operated Consider It Done in downtown Downers Grove for nearly 12 years, died Sunday after a battle with cancer.
