A weekend packed with Halloween activities kicks off Friday night in downtown Downers Grove.

Two of the sports world's most celebrated athletes met for the first time Monday in Downers Grove. Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps was a guest on "Feherty Live," a Golf Channel show that taped Monday at the Tivoli Theater, 5021 Highland Ave., as part of the show's Ryder Cup coverage. The Olympic swimmer had a surprise meeting with the Chicago Bulls legend Monday during a taping of the Golf Channel's "Feherty Live" at the Tivoli Theater, according to reports.
Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps had the surprise of a lifetime Monday—a first-time meeting with his idol, Chicago Bulls great Michael Jordan, right here in Downers Grove. The superstar athletes were both guests on "Feherty Live," a Golf Channel show that taped Monday at the Tivoli Theater, 5021 Highland Ave., as part of the show's Ryder Cup coverage. The episode will air at 8 p.m. (CST) Wednesday, two days before the tournament begins at Medinah Country Club. From the Tivoli Theatre: Spend a night with Marty McFly and Doc as they embark on an exciting adventure at the Tivoli Theatre! On Friday, July 27th at midnight, a digitally remastered print of the 1985 summer blockbuster “Back to the Future,” starring Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd, will be hitting the big screen using Tivoli Theatre’s newly enhanced 4k digital projection and sound system.
