A West Suburban Humane Society foster dog escaped last night, July 16, in Downers Grove near Main Street and Claremont. The dog's name is Matty, a spayed female beagle mix. Matty is shy and timid, so she may run away if you call her or chase her. She is three-years-old with white paws and is wearing a collar with tags. She weighs roughly 30 punds. Name: Patrice Breed: Maine Coon Mix Age: 1 Sex: Female Personality: Patrice is a sweet, friendly cat who would be great in a home with dogs or kids. She has been at the shelter for about seven months, and gets along well with the other cats. More info: Because of her age, Patrice cannot be declawed, according to a volunteer. Another interesting fact: Patrice required surgery after breaking her left, rear leg several months ago. She has completely healed and is doing just fine, volunteers said. Interested?
