OMG PD: Bananarama, FBI Don't Think So

Here's a round-up of recent and bizarre police report items from the area.

LA GRANGE Police received a complaint at 7:52 a.m. about a man “panhandling and harassing people” at the entrance to Trader Joe's. Officers found that the man was just loudly talking to himself and waiting for the store to open so he could buy bananas. A resident of the 800 block of South Madison Avenue reported that an intoxicated man walked in through her back door because he thought he lived in the house. A 42-year-old Chicago man was located and driven to a bus station. A resident reported receiving a phone call at 10:07 a.m. from someone purporting to be the FBI, advising of a supposed string of robberies and asking to put up “some kind of sign” in the resident’s yard.
