I've been living in Downers Grove since 2003 with my husband and two daughters, ages 9 and 7.   My daughters have become very fond of the phrase, "Are we doing anything fun today?" As a stay-at-home mom for the last few years, I've tried to keep them entertained with a variety of at-home activities, crafts, play dates, extra-curricular activities, physical activities, outings - you name it.  All while having a little fun myself.

I have a communications degree from Loyola University New Orleans and a master's degree in higher education administration from  University of South Carolina.  After working at two universities, a sorority headquarters, a public relations firm and on two high-profile Illinois political campaigns, I stayed home to raise my two daughters, now in fourth and first grades.  I recently returned to working out of the house during the day and I am always interested in hearing from moms who can balance it all - or at least look like they do.
