As Good As Gold Rescue to Visit Happy Dog Barkery
It will be
"Golden" around Happy Dog Barkery in Downtown Downers Grove Saturday (August
10th). The rescue group As Good As Gold will be gracing our storefront from 10-2. Volunteers would love to answer your
questions about their rescue, educate you on the numerous ways you can assist
the organization or teach you the adoption process. Make sure to stop by for a belly rub and some
yummy treats!
A little more
about the organization: As Good as Gold, Golden Retriever Rescue of Northern
Illinois is a membership based, all-volunteer 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
Their mission is to rescue, care for, and adopt abandoned/mistreated or
unwanted Golden Retrievers in the Northern Illinois area. As well as to educate
their Golden Retriever guardians and the general public about the importance of
spaying/neutering, using positive training methods, diet and exercise,
appropriate medical treatment, and humane care.
