She had a small ice cream container that she claimed she purchased from the store a few days ago. When an employee told her that she wasn't authorized to give refunds, the woman became irate and threw the ice cream container towards her.

"The subject told her that she worked for the government and she had a gun in her car and she was going to return and kick her ass or get the gun and return to kill her," said the police report for this incident.

Woman Hits Stranger After Unwanted Advance: Police Blotter

A male stranger put his hands on a woman on the 3000 block of Finley Road, but not without injury. The 30-year-old woman pulled into the parking lot at about 10 a.m. outside where she has classes. The man was sitting on a curb and got up to ask her if she knew the time. As she looked down, the man placed his hand on the middle of her back.

"He then slid his hand downwards and slipped his fingers into the waistband of (the woman's) jeans," the report said. "She then used the palm of her hand to strike the offender in the nose and cause him to bleed."

The woman ran into the building and called police. When she came back out the man was gone. He was described as a Hispanic between the ages of 45 and 50, weighing about 190 lbs. with black hair and a mustache. He wore a brown jacket and a blue baseball cap during the incident, the report said.

Male Intruder in Woman's Apartment

A 33-year-old Downers Grove man is headed to court after he entered a woman's apartment without permission near his place. Napoleon M. Jordan, 33, of the 900 block of Warren Avenue, was charged with misdemeanor criminal trespass to a residence after entering the woman's unit at 1:13 a.m., located on the 5100 block of Main Street.

The woman was alone listening to music with her lights on when she saw the man enter her apartment through an unlocked door. He was just a few feet from her when he asked "What's up?"

"(The woman) said she was shocked and stunned and forcibly replied 'Who the f--- are you and what are you doing in my apartment?'" the report said. "The male black stood there silently, and (the woman) then said 'Get the f--- out of my apartment!'"

As the man continued to stand there, the woman said that she was calling the police. He finally left and she gave the dispatcher a description of him as tall wearing a dark shirt and dark-colored shorts. Police found a person matching the description at the Main Street train depot nearby. Police drove the woman to the depot, and she positively identified him. She did not know him, nor has she ever met him before, according to the report.

Jordan was handcuffed and taken to the Downers Grove Police Department. There police learned that Jordan had an unrelated order of protection extension from his wife, the report said. He was released on I-bond and given a July 17 court date in Wheaton. His bond was also marked with the condition that he have no further contact of any kind with the woman.
